Health Update – The End is Near!

I had an appointment with Dr. Thompson – my wound care doctor yesterday. It was an excellent appointment.

The wound on the back of my neck is starting to scab over. This is good news. Dr. Thompson said I am probably 3 weeks out from being healed. This is the best news this week.

She and I had a great chat. She thinks some of the blood sugar issues I have been dealing with were the result of the wound.

The other concern was my white blood cells were borderline. So, I’m off to do more blood work.

My follow-up appointment is Oct 3rd after I return from a wedding in Ottawa.

I am still going for wound care every second day. If I am away I can miss one but that is it.
