The Loss of My Brother Gord

The last couple of weeks has been very hard on my famly and me. We lost my brother Gord on Friday May 22, 2026 in Ottawa at the young age of 54.

He had a number of cardiac episodes and was on life support. We made a family decision to stop the life support. It was for the best as things were not going to get any better.

Gord is the one in the above picture wearing the white hat.

We did not always have the best of relationships but I miss him. I love him.

I was thinking back to the last conversation I had with him a few weeks ago. He had called me for help with a domain name. Typical it was short and weeet – no catch up and not much talk – just what he needed. That was my brother.

I am sad these days for me, my mother, my brothers and the rest of my family.

RIP Gord.
