Episode 1 “Rob In 5” – Introduction and Bad Political Moves
Hey everybody, Welcome to Rob In five. I want to introduce this new podcast and share with you. The reason I jumped into doing one more podcast once again, The reality of it all is. I have my main show, the SDM show, which sits on our business blog. It’s stunning, digital marketing, I did for a while, a Canadian ranch show, and frankly, it sounded a little too ranty and wasn’t to my liking And then I was contemplating doing something a little different.
I would enjoy more. And I like to share my thoughts. And I share a lot of those here on my personal blog at robturns.xyz. And I thought maybe I would jump in and just share five minutes of audio every week. This is gonna be a little different than the SDM show.
There’s gonna be no header, there’s going to be no trailer, it’s gonna be no music and all I’m gonna do is share with you, my weekly thoughts. On my smartphone very simple for five minutes. Call Robin five. And today’s topic, I want to take on. Both the liberal government federal government in Canada.
[Speaker 1]
And, Conservative provincial government, in Ontario. I live in the Toronto area as many, you know. And I’m tired of people. Spending taxpayers money on things. That. Are a waste of time and that’s giving everybody $250 checks. Yes, the Working Poor thinks. Oh great. We just got a Windfall. Great for them.
But do you realize that the 250 checks? In Ontario, a mass to 3.3 billion dollars. Not million billion. It’s a lot of money that could go to education, Health Care. Long-Term care homes for seniors. Drug plan for all Ontarios but oh no, people need their money. It’s a waste of taxpayers money.
And the federal government, Justin Trudeau, who needs to go is just as bad. They, they dangle 250 checks as a pre-election. Let’s buy votes now. And they put HS team, which is for those who don’t know outside of Canada, Stanford to harmonize sales tax Goods. The GST plus provincial tax.
And what did they do? The dummies go and put it on mostly non-luxury items. Sugary Foods. Christmassy Foods to buy votes, are good. Look what we’re doing for Canadians for Christmas. The only two essential Foods on that whole list. Were children’s clothing and diapers essential items. Come on, guys.
[Speaker 1]
If you’re gonna spend our money, put it into something more worthwhile. Think about the long-term viability of this country. Think about what Canadians need in the long term. Let’s stop playing the short game. But it’s not all politicians do. Now, let’s try and buy votes from Pledge a short time.
It’s a bit of a problem. So, Thumbs down to both, Doug Ford and his progressive concerned as an Ontario, and Justin Trudeau and his liberals. At the federal level enough is enough, guys. Let’s just stop this when they say and stop it now. And think about us. As Canadians in the long term.
So I hope you liked the new show. That’s kind of a bit of a A shortened version with an intro and what we’re going to do, it’s just going to be me taking a topic. Uh, you’ll be able to get it over at robcairns.xyz or on Spotify. I’m probably not going to release it anywhere else but it’ll be embedded on my personal blog, it’ll come out every Friday so Robin five.
I hope you guys all have a good weekend. I hope my American friends had an amazing Thanksgiving. And, If I can help you anyway, email me. Uh VIP at stunningdigitalmarketing.com. Bye for now ciao.
