Thoughts on The WordPress Dumster Fire and My Life

The last 2 weeks have been really hard. Sometimes I wish life was easier. Right now I have been overwhelmed. Today is a better day at least.

I have had issues in an online community, lots going on in my personal life and issues with a client. My head has been spinning recently.

The personal issues I will not dive into but all I will say is they are a mess.

The good news is the wound I have been dealing with has healed. This is a good thing.

Let’s dive into the client issues.

Lately, I have had several people book calls – show up late or not at all. If I did that, people would be upset with me. But it is ok for them to do this. I have less and less tolerance for this type of behaviour. Please show up 5 minutes early.

Now on to a big mess, The WordPress Dumpster fire.

Matt Mullenweg (The Co-Founder of WordPress) took on WP Engine.

This is a mess. I do not disagree with some of the things said but the problem is the community. As a leader in the WordPress Online Community, I am past concerned.
