Episode 3: The GOAT of Alltime in F1
Hey Everybody Rob in five here. Today, I wanted to talk about Something that happened on the weekend. So I thought we jump in and not do our usual. Uh, Friday, Saturday, Robin five. But I’d throw an extra one in and that has to do with Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes. For those who don’t know, Lewis Hamilton is the driver. I considered to be the goat the greatest of all time. It’s been a rough year, for Luz, very rough year. And all he’s done is handle himself with class and Grace. And that says a lot. There’s been, no complaining, no, bitching, no whining. He’s actually taken responsibility for things.
Some of them aren’t even his fault. And it goes on. What is the man done? He’s won numerous World Championships. Is one over 100 races. And he’s been absolutely out of this world. He knows how to drive. He’s a Class Act with the media. He’s a Class Act with other Racers. It’s a Class Act with the fans, something his teammate. George Russell hasn’t realized What it takes to be a Class Act. I for one measure greatness on and off the playing field. For example. Tiger Woods. Great golfer. But early in his career, I don’t think he was that good to defense.
Djokovic and tennis the same thing. I consider him a great tennis player but I don’t consider him a Class Act off the court. And there’s other people like that, and then there’s guys, like, Lewis Hamilton other guys that come to mind. Are people like John Bell? Voted Montreal. Canadiens Gordy Howe And so on. There’s so many great people. That. Treat the fans in the game with respect. And that’s really important. It’s really important to care. To care about the people around you. Where are you without the fans? It’s a better question. The truth is nowhere.
So, Lewis, I know you’re going to Ferrari next year. I will be a Ferrari fan. I have to tell you And I’m just so glad. I’m such a fan of the way you conduct yourselves on and off the racetrack. You are a Class Act. Please, before you leave Mercedes and still some of that in George Russell. George still has a lot to learn frankly and he has to learn that publicly feuding with other drivers, is not classy, it’s not good for the team and it’s not good for the sport. But some people learn it and some people never learn it.
And I have to thank George is probably going to be in a latter category where he’ll never learn it. There’s a reason Lewis, I call you the goat. Because of Who You Are. And that’s pretty darn special. In today’s world of being so self entitled. Thank you for all you brought to Mercedes and McLaren before and great things are going to come to you. When you go to Ferrari. Robin. Five have a great day everybody. Bye for now.
