In today’s Canadian rant, I want to talk about something that’s on my mind.
Last week we lost a polarizing figure in this world, and that’s Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.
It happened on my birthday of all days.
Which is really.
Sad and will kind of edge my birthday in in history and a day many people won’t forget.
The problem I have with.
Losing the queen, she lived a good life. She was 96 years old and she gave a lot to the world.
And frankly.
I think we know was with the second overall made the world a better place.
Now I need to preface this by saying I am not a staunch monarchist.
Even though I’m Canadian, and even though the Queen is technically a head of state.
I’m still not a big monarchy person.
What I am is.
Somebody who understands somebody contribution to society in the world, and that certainly was Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.
She was one of the most recognized.
Pictures in the entire world.
And she made it.
A better place?
The problem I have is the minute the queen died, all the staunch monarchy queen, righteous people all came out to play again.
They never. Never, never.
Look at what the Queen did that was good for this world.
They never looked at how she conducted herself with elegance and grace.
They never look at.
How she felt.
Or what she did.
And so on and so forth.
They just seen their own little portion of the.
What they believe in.
All the monarchy is bad.
The Queen has been bad.
Need to abolish.
I think you should.
Ask people in the UK that.
Based on the outpouring I’ve been seeing on the news, they are so not in the mode.
That the queen was fat.
Do you really think the Queen was bad?
I don’t, I don’t think you can say that we could conscious actually.
As I said, it’s a big loss.
The world is in turmoil between all the look at me, all the causes or the mess in the Ukraine.
It would have been nice to have a guiding force.
Around like the queen.
Time will tell what Charles II does.
Asking as Charles the third actually asking.
But the reality of it all is.
We need to celebrate the Queen’s legacy and what she did not with all these haters that come out and said that we should be all over the monarchy.
That’s my two cents on this week’s Canadian, right?
Celebrate the queen.
Don’t put her down on what she did.
